About the accommodation

Karikari Lodge has three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people. It is on a private fenced section and is fully wheelchair accessible.

All bedding and linen is supplied and there is a washing machine.

There is a full kitchen and living/dining room with television and DVD player, covered barbeque area (with BBQ) and upper deck.

Facilities include a fully wheelchair accessible toilet and shower. The house is fully furnished and self-contained.

The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the family bedroom has a queen-size bed and two bunk beds and the single bedroom has two bunk beds.

While staying at Karikari Lodge, you will have the use of kayaks, mountain bikes, boogie boards, surf board, snorkeling gear and a fish-filleting table. However, you will need to bring your own beach towels.

If you are staying five nights or more, you will receive free half-day hire of two motor scooters from Whatuwhiwhi Scooter Hire. Conditions apply:

Must be booked one day in advance
Each rider must have a car, learners or motor bike licence
Riders must abide by the terms and conditions of hire contract with Whatuwhiwhi Scooter Hire
Each rider pays NZ$50 refundable bond for each scooter

The house is totally non-smoking and we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.

Rates

A minimum of two nights stay in low season and seven nights stay in peak season is required.

For up to five persons:

Low season: March to November: NZ$ 150.00 per night
Peak season: December to February: NZ$ 180.00 per night

Extra person: NZ$ 25.00 per night (maximum eight persons)

If you only stay for two nights, there will be an additional NZ$ 80.00 cleaning and linen charge. This is for the complete house.

From the end of March through to the end of November, for multi-night stays (seven nights or more) free transport can be provided with pick up in Auckland and return when your holiday is finished. Maximum of 4 people.

Please contact us for availability. In low season, rates and minimum stay can be the subject of negotiation.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Deposits:
After we have advised you that Karikari Lodge is available, a deposit of one third of the total cost (or full payment) is required. The deposit may be paid by NZ dollar cheque or by transfer to our bank account. We are unable to accept credit card payments.

Cancellation:
As a small property, cancellations do heavily impact on us and if we are not able to replace cancelled bookings, any deposit will be forfeited. Any refund of deposit will be in New Zealand dollars.

Balance of payment:
The balance of payment may be paid on arrival by cash or NZ dollar cheque.

The owners of Karikari Lodge accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property while on the Karikari Lodge property.
